BTS Facades and Fabrications honoured with logo on rapid response vehicle

BTS Facades & Fabrications have been honoured with their logo displayed on the side of our rapid response vehicle, in recognition of their charitable support.

The family business based in Newton Aycliffe, is a carbon-neutral company that manufactures high-quality rainscreen and façade products to clients across the country.

Over the years they’ve raised tens of thousands of pounds for GNAAS through a variety of ways including attending our annual ball and golf day, donating prizes for our charity auction, and holding coffee mornings and cake sales in the office.

They also host their own golf day, where they invite their customers to play a round of golf, and through raffles, auctions and sponsorships they usually raise £5,000 per event.

The company’s fundraising qualified them as a Corporate Partner of GNAAS, and the staff were invited to a celebration day at our HQ in Eaglescliffe, which acknowledged the support of businesses from the North East.

Phil Atkinson, managing director, and Marcia Atkinson, finance director, from BTS, attended the day, and had the opportunity to meet one of our former patients Dean Abbott who kindly shared the story of when he needed GNAAS’ help, as well as network with other charitable businesses.

Marcia Atkinson said: “For two years, we have raised thousands of pounds for the charity through golf days, taking part in the Great North Run, and running our own small fundraising initiatives – equating to almost £15,000 worth of funds being donated, which we’re immensely proud of.”

Businesses need to raise a minimum of £5,000 for GNAAS to become a Corporate Partner and if they reach £10,000 they qualify to have their logo displayed on the back of one of our vehicles which is used by our doctors and paramedics.

Due to the amount of funds raised by BTS, their logo now takes pride of place on our rapid response vehicle for the next year, in addition to them receiving a trophy highlighting their support for our charity.
